The day began early at 7:30 AM, with a quick trip to the hotel reception at 8:10 AM to sort out room arrangements. By 8:20 AM, I was enjoying breakfast, and at 8:40 AM, we were in a taxi on our way to HUST University in Hanoi.
We arrived at the university around 9:30 AM, where the day officially began with a warm introduction. This was followed by an insightful presentation on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on their financial aspects. Afterward, we listened to two research papers presented by students, showcasing their innovative ideas and dedication.
Lunch was at 11:00 AM, followed by a short break in a nearby park to recharge. The afternoon included a campus tour, with highlights such as the library, and a detailed introduction to Vietnam’s culture and academic environment. The day also featured some “crazy games,” adding a playful and energetic twist to the experience. Examples of these games included bingo and karaoke, where Eduard particularly impressed us with his performance.
From an academic perspective, HUST University offered a dynamic blend of learning, fun, and cultural immersion, making it a truly memorable day.
Later, we explored Hanoi’s famous train street before heading to Bao Wow for dinner. To wrap up the day, some of us decided to take a long walk back to the hotel, which took over an hour. It was a perfect opportunity to reflect on the day’s experiences and soak in the vibrant streets of Hanoi.
