Blog Day 3 HCMC

Gooood mooorning Vieeetnaaam!!! It’s 8th of January, with exceptional weather and good vibes for the first day of visits.

We woke up really early to have breakfast from 6 to 7 AM and then we hopped on the bus
for an hour and a half reaching the bosch plant where we found lockers for each one of us
with our names on them and shoes specifically for each person based on a form we filled up
a month ago, the plant General Manager welcomed us and informed us about his history
with Bosch and then followed by Bosch history in Vietnam a group photo was taken and then
we went deep into sustainability of Bosch, after that we were brought to the lunch area which
we had variety of options to eat and network for half an hour which we took a bus to
Heineken.

From there a ride through the busy country roads of Vietnam to the factory took us in about
an hour to Heineken. We all were greeted by a really cool bar and a nice presentation, but
kind of short. The factory visit started, following all the steps of the beloved Heineken beer
and their counterparts, from barley, hops, to the finished and packaged product. Afterwards,
a Q&A session accompanied by some beers and beverages to finish the visit.

We got back after a long trip through the busy rush hour of Ho Chi Minh, and went out to
explore some more of the city. Some of us went to the Bui Vien Walking street, got some
drinks and walked around, some had some more relaxing times either at the hotel or the
spa.

A nice start to a long journey, but not long enough 🙂
