This was the first full free day we had in Hanoi, without any company visits. So, I could finally get some more sleep again, and I stayed in bed for a bit longer than the previous days. After waking up and getting ready, I went out to get some banh mi with chicken. After that, I took a taxi and went to one of the streets that the train passes through, the one before it reaches the station of Hanoi. I grabbed a drink first at one of the bars there, and afterwards we walked a bit further to a place that has a good view for when the train would pass. We waited there for the train, which arrived quite a bit later than we expected it to. It was very cool to see as the train passed far closer and it went quite a bit faster than I expected it to. After watching the train pass, I went to a coffee place near the central station. I decided to follow the train tracks and ended up in another train street, which seemed a lot more tourist-oriented than the previous one. We walked for a bit and got to a pizzeria, where we had our dinner. The pizza was very nice, although the base of the pizza was a bit too thin which caused the topping to fall off when picking up a slice. After dinner, I went back to the hotel since I wanted to get some rest since there is a very nice tour to Ha Long Bay coming the next day.
